November 8-11, Las Vegas Convention Center (3150 Paradise Road, Las Vegas, NV, 89109)

PubCon 2010 promises to be the largest and most important social media and search conference all year. Held at the Las Vegas Convention Center, PubCon regularly attracts some of the biggest names and companies from the search and social media marketing industry. Past speakers have included Tony Hsieh, CEO of Zappos; Craig Newmark, founder of Craigslist; and author Malcolm Gladwell, among others.

This year, PubCon will focus a great deal of attention on social media services like Twitter, FourSquare, and Gowalla. PubCon allows attendees to choose from a wide variety of tracks during the weekend conference, including social media optimization, search marketing, SEO, affiliate, webmaster, expert spotlight, interactive site reviews, and sponsored sessions. PubCon will also host day-long intensive professional training workshops in educational search and social media. These programs will occur the day before the full conference officially commences.

Webmasters, affiliates, search engine marketers, and program managers can network with thousands of social media and search practitioners amongst several top technology vendors. After taking in the cutting-edge sessions, unwind at networking lunches or at one of the several after-hours industry parties and events. PubCon hosts TweetUps and evening assemblies, including the PubCon Ironman Triathlon of late-night networking events and the PubCon Classic, an informal gathering that allows attendees to make new connections and enjoy the company of old friends.
